Seven East Meck athletes signed to play sports in college Wed. April 19. Athletes signed for football, basketball, and softball at six different colleges and universities. Friends and family of these senior athletes were invited to watch the signing and celebrate their accomplishments. The coaches also made speeches and gave advice to their players. This was the largest number of athletes to sign at once at East Meck.

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said boys basketball coach Vincent Moore.

• Drewcilla Watson for softball at John Wesley College
