The East Meck Varsity Basketball team failed on the road in a tough game against Sun Valley High. Despite the hard work and effort, the Eagles have made with their coach this year, the team continues to fall short of other teams as the season goes on. Currently, the Varsity basketball team stands at 0-4 less than a month into the season.

The Eagles fought hard making five out of six free throws and gained 12 offensive rebounds and only allowed seven. The Eagles continued to turn the ball over 13 turnovers throughout the game. They did however put up a strong third quarter and forced 15 turnovers in the second half after only forcing two in the first. The final score of the game turned out of being 40-57.
