East Meck’s football team claimed a victory over Independence 27-7, on Thurs. September, 2017 at home.

By halftime, East was tied 7-7 with Independence, but took the lead with two touchdowns in third quarter and maintained it with one by the end of the game. Out of the 4 touchdowns, halfback Khalil Woods scored 2, running back Curtis Jones scored 1, and safety Trey Hodge’s 56 yard interception return led to a touchdown.
