East Meck beats Queens Grant 4-1

On Thursday, Sept 12, East’s varsity soccer team beat the Queens Grant stallions 4-1. The home game proved Easts athletic stride as the season is just getting started. Goals were scored by the likes of: Gustavo Gonzalez, Hardin Pharr, Christian Etambalako, and team captain Collin Thomas.

The untarnished record of the Eagles came to question two weeks ago in a match against Ardrey Kell high school. Since then the team has been even keener on their effort in the game. With head coach Timothy Long the team shows promise with a 6-1 record this year.  The eagles will next play Independence on Sept 18 at East.
