East Meck falls to Butler in season finale

Story by Jacob Phillips, Online Editor

The East Meck football team lost to Butler 49-16. The Eagles hosted Butler in their last game of the season and senior night. It was a disappointing showing for the Eagles as they were unable to send their seniors off with a win. The offensive struggles continued as they have all season, and the defense was unable to stop the run game from making big plays throughout the game.

This season has been yet another rocky one for East as they had almost an identical season as last year. With only two wins in the last two years, both against Phillip O Berry, East needs to put a lot of work in the offseason to improve and come out next year to compete.

The Eagles finished the season 1-10 overall and 0-7 in the conference finishing last place.
