Swimming into the season, East Meck’s swim team has competed against Providence, Independence, Garinger and Palisades High after their first two meets. The swim team has many promising athletes on the team this year including UNC commit Nate Hohm.
With East’s performance over these past two meets they have a very bright season ahead. During the first meet there were numerous automatic regional qualifiers, including the men’s 200 Medley Relay and the men’s 400 Free Relay. The athletes involved in this relay are Ben Martin, Tate Alexander, Nate Hohm, and Jake Miller; Nate Hohm has also qualified with his 100 Butterfly time.
