Maiya Sanders is a staff writer and sophomore. She’s from New York and moved to Charlotte 4 years ago. Her favorite colors are brown, black and gold. She loves the spring time because it gives her a chance to enjoy the warm weather and watch the flowers bloom. She likes to sing, draw, cook and try different foods. Her plans for the future include attending HBCU college. She hopes to become a vet or an occupational therapist.
