The East Meck volleyball team suffered a loss to Myers Park Sept. 18 3-0. Myers Park came into the game strong with a 8-2 record, and a 3-0 record in the conference, while the Lady Eagles came in at 3-4, and 2-2 in the conference.

The Lady Eagles struggled all game, while the Mustangs were able to control the momentum throughout the match winning every set.

“When you play a team as good as Myers, it’s hard to gain momentum when they start getting a few good hits” Assistant coach Rachel Wagner said. “We just weren’t connecting on our passes like we needed to,”

The Lady Eagles look to turn things around Sept. 19 when the travel to Hickory Ridge.
