East Meck football team gained their first win of the season 31-14 at Garinger on Friday in a conference game.

The Eagles scored five touchdowns in their victory against Garinger with senior Bruce Perry scoring three out of the five to lead the team to victory.

Quarterback Brock Fowler was excited with their success. “Well it was awesome,” Fowler said. “The most fun part about it was watching my friends score their first varsity touchdown and throwing water on Coach Sanders for his first win at East.”

Winning against Garinger gave all the players hope for their upcoming game against archrival Butler.
